Not much but I did figure that I am 99% likely to have adhd AND i managed to tell my uncle such big steps, so proud of myself his reaction wasn't great but I'm gonna persist to get checked
im doing pretty good! spring started a few days ago and the sakura flowers are all in full bloom now so i went to see them last week! was nice touching grass for a bit
Idk, in a thread, I will check later maybe and find it
Yayyy!!! those are so pretty!!! Take pics
I was coding I have a 99% of having ADHD and am attempting to go get it diagnosed in the meantime, the last 10 FRICKING MONTHS are my biggest example of ADHD executive dysfunction I had 1 coding tut to follow and I just had to do whatever the coder did and it's like a 4 day project and I still procrastinated for 10 months and the past 3 days, I did some part of the video a day as my uncle put pressure on me and today, MAGICLLY, I managed to force myself to do 5 hours of the video, the adhd gods gave me one lucky day it was so mentally draining tho, took all day and every 10 minutes felt like torture
I completed it, took a bath, ate and drew for a while, today was just weird I didn't make so much progress in all these months
YouTube, documentations, w3schools, chatgpt and google, they help you know your stuff on any language
They look similiar but they are actually quite different.
Lazy = you don't wanna do a task so you choose not and you're fine with that, you don't care if it gets done or not.
Procrastination: You wanna do the task but you keep putting it off cuz you find it difficult/boring/time-consuming
Executive dysfunction: you WANT to do that task, at this very moment, there is no significant reason not to, but you can't because your brain is struggling to transition between activities.
Also the person who gave this description of the 3 mentioned that their therapist told them the key difference was the feelings of guilt and shame.
I felt horrible everyday that I wasn't doing it, stressed, I had arguments with my uncle over the project not being completed yet, I felt useless and just so bad and so many times I cried, I didn't understand how I could CRY about it and not just get it over with, I wanted more than ANYTHING to have it done and completed and I knew I could if I started but starting took so much energy and STAYING to complete was next to impossible yesterday was a weird miracle and I thank the lords above for it
Shhh shh , if I take breaks, I won't be back for a few months, it's all at once or nothing
its a good thing u completed it though! dont be so hard on yourself, you're doing great imo maybe u can try breaking ur tasks into smaller tasks and set small but realistic goals
