The Sims, Overwatch, Apex Legends and other random games.
But you still do, right? What do you play?

It depends. I wrote Horror (psychological), Romance and I guess smut.

like Diablo (1 and 2 not 3 and 4 lol), starcraft 1, warcraft 3, baldur's gate (1 and 2), civ 1!! and I used play a bit of league when it came out but yeah with kids these days not so much
these days I play whatever what son is into

cool - do you do that for a hobby or career? how did you get into writing?

I have only touched Diablo 4 for like 10mins, I'm not a fan of these types of game. Oh wow, you have a son?
Also, what is civ1? Is it civilization?

Hobby. I would like it to be a career. I used to draw very often, like, trying to make stories and all that but since I have ideas for new stories or how to progress stories always coming into my head, I felt like writing was much more easier to store than and somewhat faster. To me at least.

I have two sons actually and you can see from my choice of games I'm on the older side of kpop fans lol
I see you prefer the first person shooter genre huh? I used to play a bit of half-life 2 at the Lan cafe when there were still lan cafes in my area

I don't about that. Choice of games isn't really telling. I have played RE1, RE2, RE3 and Nightmare Creatures for PS1 lol. (I am not saying my age, ever)

Oh. I like games like Civilization but without historical figures, I feel like they influence how you would play.

You should. Who knows, maybe you can make more money with it or find more fun than you would think. (Drawing too)

well generally the older games one plays it implies they played those games during that time...like I would be shocked to see someone young playing something like baldur's gate 1 or 2 when 3 is the current and most popular release

the earlier civs your choice of leader doesn't really matter

I'm more than happy to just make them up for my kids to enjoy

Well, you will be shocked lol. I know some people that play older games. Sometimes is to experience the stories or just to like play something new, well, even though it's old, it feels new.

I have no idea lol. I can't remember when and how, I do remember liking SNSD and 2ne1 back in the days but I don't remember how that happened lol. What about you? How did you get into Kpop?

but are those people young? or youngish lol I can understand those from say the older generation playing those games but young people these days rarely play those type of games

started in the second gen huh?

I started quite late - it was 2019 and YT recommended me D4 right before KTL dropped in April and I was like hey this has a lot of views let's give it a shot...and there was a bedazzled tank!!! and the rest is history.

I will assume they do. I think it isn't as rare as you would think.

So you are a BP stan? I also like them but I stay out of their fandom. (For all the groups, mostly)

Well it depends. I just got back into Kpop after like 4 years of barely listening or following the genre except for Twice.
Before that tho, I liked Twice, Blackpink, Weeekly, Momoland, Red Velvet, Monsta X, 9Muses, SNSD, 2ne1, Zico, BTS and some others lol

what made you take a 4 year hiatus?

I don't consider myself a stan of any group - I'm not a good enough fan to be considered a stan (obviously what is a stan vs fan is subjective) but I haven't spent a single cent on kpop so I don't consider myself a stan

but I am a fan of BP, Twice, RV, Itzy, Gidle, IVE, LSFM and Aespa

I don't have any form of social media and generally stay out of those spheres where certain fans can be very toxic lol

would you say you are a fan of those groups now?

It's a long story.

Well, I still like their music and I guess that's what is important. I guess that makes me a fan.

I also like Gidle too

I can get really toxic, so it's better that I stay passive

all good everybody's circumstances are unique and you can enjoy something or not or take a break for whatever reason

I guess I'm much more laissez faire when it comes to kpop - it's a hobby and enjoy it like any other
I feel no need to defend my favs when others attack or criticize them (nor the need to attack others) - the most you'll hear me say for most of my posts here are like "nice" or "interesting" lol

Yeah, I understand that. I only get toxic if I get attacked personally and then, I can't stop myself

obviously if one gets attacked personally then retaliation is ok

If I'm having an argument or discussion just stick to the topic at hand and focus on attacking the argument not the person
(although that said attacking a person is a valid argument if one has enough information about said person to warrant such an attack especially in real life since a person's character is one of the most fundamental elements of their credibility...)
