common now I know next to nothing about you my friend lol

when did you start collecting PC?

how about I start - I'm Chinese Australian and came to Australia when I was 7 - at that time I didn't speak a word of English except Gameboy because my mother bought me the original (GREY) Gameboy when we left China.

My parents enrolled me in the local primary (elementary) school however the principal had an issue since you know I didn't speak English - I mean how was I suppose to partake and interact etc etc without speaking English???? So he suggested that I go to a dedicated language school which was 2 bus rides away and my parents were like NOPE we are not gonna ride 4 bus trips just for me to go to school. So then the principal offered a suggestion that the school would give me 3 months in order to learn basic sufficient English otherwise they'd have no choice but to send me to that language school...

So the principal took me out of normal classes and spent aa couple of hours each school day teaching me English one on one with flash cards that had the English word on one side and a picture on the other. At night my parents would do the same (to a lesser extent since they had limited English skills as well). I learned English in a MONTH!!!! I went back to my primary school when I got older to find that principal only to discover he had already passed away. To this day I still remember his name - MR HENDERSON

Uhmmm, for the past few years in a row I have qualified for finals to go to the Junior Olympics(track ), and I've only went once TT
Two or three of the times my family decided they didn't want to travel with me and the latest time which was last summer I was visiting my dad in Georgia, but finals was in Savannah so he didn't take me every year I have qualified for two or more events as well ❤‍🩹
The one time I went was my first year and ofc I placed low :(

I started collecting PCs last year and I have 100+ but last year I only had 10-15

TJ also does junior Olympics - I wonder if that's a US thing since we don't really have that down under...

what track even do you normally compete in?

it doesn't matter if you placed low or high - I'm pretty sure getting in is and of itself something to be proud of

also everybody is unique and has their own story to tell - you're still young and still have a lot of life to experience whereas I'm old lol

did you also get into kpop last year? and what made you start collecting? (I heard it can be really expensive)

Well I've been into kpop forever like literally I was born into it TT
I believe it is a US thing because in track the organization that runs the track portion is called USATF, so most likely
It's not that expensive but again I do spend a large portion of my money on it when I buy albums off Amazon that's the only relief because 6-8 albums on there could cost me 50 or less
I normally compete in 100 meter dash, 100 meter hurdles,200 meter hurdles , long jump, and 200 meter dash

really so did you get into it because of your family or something?

do you buy albums or PC individually because I heard that it's the individual cards that can be expensive like the rare ones can go upwards of thousands of dollars...

lots of running and jumping activities lol
it must take a lot of time to practice and train

I buy albums PC buying isn't my type of stuff I'll stick to selling
Though because I get target exclusive albums 80% of the time those cards cost more I have a yoonchae card worth 20-35 dollars just because it's us/target exclusive
I got into it because of my family yes but I dropped it for maybe 1-2 years bc why is bullying a thing TT
I just found out about physical albums last year and at first I thought lono cards were real PCs when I was younger I never heard anyone talk about albums or PCs at all!
I honestly love buying through Amazon as well because you get P.O.B 99% percent o the time or it's a target exclusive I bought a gold album for 8 dollars and it was target exclusive, and they have really good discounts! I bought KIOF magazine album for 6 dollars when it's 30 TT and it came with all the first press items just like all my other ones did!

I was bullied as a kid too so I understand how you must feel

I guess you could make money off of it but I haven't sold any yet and also haven't updated my shop yet TT

Pre order benefit which typically consist of posters post cards or an extra PC in most cases
I think pre-order benefits should only be PCs because wdym I'm getting an album with 1 PC no poster and no post card (ahem SM and Starship)

But honestly Preorder benefits are good! If you buy from a kpop album website they give you choices to choose which POB you want normally the ones from the company cost more and apple music and make star POB PCs are known to be cheaper maybe 1 or 2 dollars extra

This is my first time buying from Korea and from a kpop website I was shocked though because it was a really cheap purchase, I know albums are 50% cheaper but normally the shipping makes it more expensive and it didn't! It was only 5 which is less than the shipping on target and it was a lucky draw so I'll be buying from them again for sure!
