i am currently writing a paper that i DO NOT want to write at all. it's over this boooorrrriiiiinnggg book we had to read. i love reading but this book was not fun, and the entire class thinks so

yes it is still march 3rd for me
the book is Sor Juana: The Traps of Faith by Octavio Paz. it's a biography on the poet/nun Sor Juana which her as a person is interesting to me but the book is so horribly written. the author goes onto several tangents and multiple chapters have nothing to do with her

oh we have a 14-hour time difference !

time zones are always so interesting to me

i like mostly classic literature and philosophy. (since i am a history and philosophy student)
so i do like biographies just this specific book is such a drag

I like me some fiction books I’m trying to get into classic literature though it’s not my fault I literally have to read them over and over again and look up almost every word js to understand I’m like still 7% in in east of eden

i think classic lit just takes some getting used to because i used to slightly struggle with it when i was younger but now i have gotten used to it and it's really the only genre i read i think it's also cause im older now, and not a 12 year old trying to decode what dostoevsky is trying to say
