I moved when I was almost 7 with my parents - my entire family have migrated to Australia already
as for why my parents moved? they wanted a change (and I think also more children - I have a younger brother which would not be possible back then lol)

it's not really that scary unless like you live in the rural or country regions
yes we have a lot of dangerous insects and other scary creatures but most of the time it's not a factor especially in the urban areas
