furthermore it's hard to know exactly who the hell people are after they change their usernames because I also am not into aesthetics so I don't tell people from their signs or DPs and thus the only method of me knowing who other people are are from their usernames

the problem is that on the face of it you cannot tell if a person has changed or hasn't changed their username. You have to go into their profile to check. It's inconvenient especially if a lot of people keep changing them all the time.
