i can't imagine a group that wouldn't survive if a member left, but it would 100% depend on the member tbh. there are certain members that just seem totally essential for the group to survive long term. though even if they do survive, they may not thrive as much as they did before.

Milk or soy. I bought a fancy tablet of organic Mexican hot chocolate infused w/coffee. The instructions said to use water, but it was super gross that way. I had to add milk to it and it was great after that 😭
