found my 10th Great Grandfather (Welsh Side)

I had to look up the naming system since it seemed backward In the Welsh naming system, a child was given the father's “given” name as a last name. For example, Owen Powell has a son named John. Ap or ab, meaning “son of,” would be attached, making the son's name John ab Owen.

Appreciation I am starting up my genealogy journey again (A renewed interest)

I had a break from it for about 3 months or something. I forget the exact duration. But a new spark within has got me keen on it again. Hurray for rekindled interests <3 My tree is kind of small as it is now. It needs to be bigger in any case. I like looking up American relatives more than...
