It's the styling I think, Idk how to describe it but Japanese and Korean people (not just celebs) usually stick to different hairstyles and such.

I think im pretty okay at telling Chinese, Korean, Thai, & Japanese ppl apart but i think its ok for her to get them mixed up as long as she doesn't say "they all look/are the same" or something
