Are You Picky About Movies? (1 Viewer)

I don't think I really am-its rare for me to come out of a movie
and be like that movie sucked.
The only time that happened was with the movie The Turning.
That movie was horrendous and the only cool thing was the ending...MAYBE.

I did enjoy movies like Happy Death Day
and 50 First Dates which may be movies people are
weird about I guess?​

For example i am not inclined to see movies made after tv shows or most remakes of a move for the 3-4-5 th time.
And some remakes should never be attempted (looking at you Psycho)

but i can watch mind less blowing up stuff like say the the expendable's.

And i like 50 first dates. ?Drew and adam are a fun combo.

I Love 50 FIrst Dates I think it's equal parts funny, romantic, and endearing. But I just showed it to my bf and he was just like neutral on it and I was shocked and made me think of this thread idea.

i dont like really movies, they make me sleepy and usually the plot feels either too stretched out or too rushed so unless im reaaaaally interested i wont watch it. its a little embarrassing when everyone's talking about a classic and im the only one who hasnt seen it tho

I think I'm only picky if I expect the movie to be good, if I don't expect a lot out of it then I won't take it too seriously. Like with some movies I just expect it not to be problematic and be kind of entertaining but I don't necessarily expect a great overarching story. But if it's a movie that I want or expect to be competent, then I will probably nitpick it

(pretty much the person that everyone wants to shut up during the movie) I also don’t really like movies anymore, they just never really keep me interested for very long. I'd say so. I don't watch movies anymore. But if I'm even thinking about watching one, I go to IMDB to make sure it'll be worth my time.

I wish I had done that with the Turning
