AYANO (also called TWINS) is a group consists of two twin sisters, Izumi and Alice Murakami. The duo was under StarMine agency before to join Dango Records in 2018. Izumi is known for her casual side and she is the most mature and feminine of the two sisters. Alice is more extravagant and a kind of childish sometimes. Both girls writes and composes their songs and also wrote for other groups, like April Fool and IQonic for example. The name AYANO is refering to their second birth names (Ayami and Kanami). They debuted in July 2013 with their first single called "Summer Love". Their third single "Aishiteru / Dakishimete my Baby" became viral because in the video (Dakishimete my Baby) there is a scene in which Izumi and Alice were kissing each other. It is their best-selling single until now and the duo is one of the most famous artists in Coloread. They are featured in the huge hit of Tenpenko "Black Moon" and in the song "Celebration" (with I⭐STAR). Their songs are often covered by other artists. ≠Us and New+Mode told in an interview that AYANO was their role model. As both are now university students they decided to focus more on their studies but they will continue to release new music stuff at the same time. They are now working on their own and as an independant artist.
