i agree !! some people have limited ranges but better control. a bigger range does not equal being a better singer, just like how being able to hit higher notes does not automatically make you a better singer than others.No.. But the more I see vocal coach reactions of singers the more I see that being tone deaf and improper technique is a lot of the reason for why a lot of people sing badly. Although some people think that a limited range means bad singing which I don't agree with. Some singers have a huge range, but don't know how to utilize it properly.
I'm not sure if a lot of modern (non-kpop) pop singers are given adequette vocal training (or if their agencies/labels want them to), as there has got to be more singers who have voices like Sharon Den Adel and Simone Simons. Like if you go on YT you can see that originally Britney had a strong vocal ability, but because of her label and father she got f***d over.i agree !! some people have limited ranges but better control. a bigger range does not equal being a better singer, just like how being able to hit higher notes does not automatically make you a better singer than others.
A bigger range is a natural advantage, but it is not SKILL on itself.i agree !! some people have limited ranges but better control. a bigger range does not equal being a better singer, just like how being able to hit higher notes does not automatically make you a better singer than others.
