YG is only BIG 3 because of BIGBANG, 2NE1 and Se7en (in that order) and from the years 2003-2014. Those years and acts gave the formation for the big pop entity we see now.

Unfortunately for DSP Media they only had KARA for years and after that they had no one to fill the void or another long term mega act. So no BIGBANG and BlackPink. Plus DSP really mismanaged their money and got into debt.
