Favorite type of photobook (1 Viewer)

So yesterday I my The Boyz Chase albums came in the mail and I was surprised to see the style of photobook they were. For one thing the books are so big! I didn't look at the size descriptions and was honestly shocked lol. Secondly, the book wasn't hard back and the pages were thinner and glossier--basically like a magazine (just not as easily tearable and stuff). I seriously love the album was made this way and like it way better than the usual hardback books i've gotten from most groups.

Yeah its different than usual. But i prefer hardbacks so its easier to showcase them on my shelf where i keep all my albums standing up. Glad to see you like it that way though

yeah I like that you can store hardbacks easier but as for viewing the albums I really like the magazine. Especially this album because its so big

Blackpinks HYLT and Twices Fancy You are like that too.
I love the photo books more than anything so it's my favorite
Gfriends Fever season isn't as big and it's hard back but the page quality is really good

I like both but I prefer the look of hardback photobooks over the other ones, they're easier to showcase lol

Wait are the albums you get in k-pop? Are they photo books with them or just album art snippets? (or something).

Baekhyun’s Delight is like that too. I love them for the size and quality of the pictures, but they’re also kinda flimsy. I prefer hardbook covers but the odd change is never a bad thing.

Dance the Night Away is the magazine style too and I really like it as well. The best hardback album i've gotten is Twice's More & More + Feel Special. They have the photobook book glued to one side so its easier to spread the book pages and actually seen the photos

Twice just has really great albums in general literally never gotten one and went "Oh this is it" lol this is a shade at SM every album i've gotten of their groups lmao

So depending on the group you can get several things with each album pretty consistently though you get a CD, photobook, photo card(s), and a poster. The photo books can be just pictures or can have some commentary/writing from the idols or other. There's also usually pages with the songs and their lyrics.

Depending on how cheap the company is though the amount of stuff you get in an album varies. Like some will only give you 1 photocard and a poster in their albums. Some will give you a lot though like this album I made the thread on. It came with 3 photo cards, 1 holo graphic card, a postcard, poster, and the photobook casing has a members picture as well.
