She wrote all of the lyrics herself and composed, produced and arranged alongside her ATISPAUS labelmate Graphix. On July 10 of 2020, an english version of 'Running through the night' is released as a live performance published on her YouTube channel. Hairdryer has a unique sound and uses autotune to create a haunting effect on Seori's voice. Running through the night gives a much more hopeful feel despite expressing darker themes like wanting to escape this reality and loneliness.

'The Long Night' is a gentle song about trying to fall asleep without the person you love next to you, but not being able to because you miss them too much.

Moving on to my favorite single from her, 'Can't Stop This Party'. Released March 22, 2022, this single is much more like the R&B genre she is heavily associated with. Some may think the song becomes repetitive at one point, but I would say it was done on purpose to make the listeners feel just like what she expresses in the lyrics about being tired of the party, but not being able to stop it.

I know lots of k-pop stans love to brag about how their favorite groups are so famous and talented, so i'll do the same 😁
Seori has really managed to do a LOT in career considering she debuted while COVID-19 was at its peak, it's only been two years since her official debut and she doesn't have the exposure of a well-known company. However, despite not being super popular, ATISPAUS has really good connections with 88rising which helped Seori by getting some good opportunity including the Marvel soundtrack and the Head in the Clouds festival in 2021.
Her talent has been recognized by some of the biggest name of the k-industry! BTS' Jungkook added her song 'Running through the night' on his public Spotify playlist and hummed along to it on reality TV show 'In the Soop'. Stray Kids' 3RACHA reacted to 'Lovers in the night' on VLIVE and had a lot of positive comment about it! They enjoyed the song a lot and Chan also recommended 'Running through the night' saying he watches Seori's MVs a lot.

4. PERSONALITY
I think being able to sort of click (?) with an idol is very important because you're not going to watch vlogs and behind the scenes of a person who really annoys you or who bores you. This is a list of a few traits and stories that I think are important to know about Seori and you can always learn more by watching her content <3
First of all, she is one of the biggest cat mom I know. If it's not a video dedicated to her music, then she's surely mentioning her cat, Aeji, at least once. Before debuting, she used to put Aeji at the end of every single one of her covers. Plus, Aeji comes from the korean word 'Aaejijungji': to care about or love something very much. Don't forget to wish Aeji a happy birthday on August 24th!
Seori suffers from a autoimmune disease called lupus 😕She can't eat too much flour and meat because of it and she often feels tired. In her documentary 'Iam Seori', she expresses how lonely her condition can be sometimes because she can't hang out with her friends as much. She also said that her inspiration is Selena Gomez who also has lupus, Selena gives her hope that it's possible to make it in the entertainment field even with her disease. Seori wants to give that same hope to her audience who might suffer from the same disease.
She had wanted to be a singer since she was very young, but didn't know how to tell her parents and convince them to let her pursue this career. She started writing her own lyrics to show she was serious about this, but also because she felt drawn to the fact that singer-songwriter could express their emotions through their lyrics and she had trouble doing just that as an introverted person.
She is very grateful for all of her fans <3. I feel like this is a given for any idols, but, since Seori gets no exposure from having a big company or being labelmates with big names, she is extra reliant on the listeners that will tune in every single one of her comeback. She was feeling very insecure about her music, wondered if people would like it, but her fans gave her reassurance that she's doing good and the confidence to release more.
