I realized this when I tried to name recently debuted boy groups and failed miserably
I don't even know the group names, never mind the songs.....

I think I've reached a point in my kpop stan career where I'm just vibing.
I don't feel like... I need to know everything going on
I don't feel like I need to listen to all the new releases

I'm just vibing, checking out shiz if it seems interesting.

Maybe the recent BG's haven't been that memorable.... bcs now thinking about it I can name Cravity, but like... I honestly haven't listened to a single song from them.

And the only reason I know Cravity, is bcs there was the whole drama among Pink Fantasy stans about their fandom name

And it's literally like... IT AIN'T THAT COMPLICATED and it ain't NEARLY as catastrophic as ppl claim!
I've legit seen ppl say, that like in NCT any member can be replaced with a trainee (literally what???) in Aespa any member can be replaced with a virtual member (literally WHAT???)

Like... those ppl DO understand that we ARE still going to get the 4 "real" members doing the normal kpop idol promotions???? That the Virtual member concept is just added on top....

the virtual idols idea was literally just for virtual counterparts too... idk why it’s so hard for people to get

and the NCT thing is just bs. Yeah some members had really short training times, but they also had a ton of prior experience w singing and or dancing

EXACTLY! Nothing is replacing anything, it's just virtual characters and maybe some cool unique merch for the group! Some interesting promotions and videos etc! THAT IS IT! We aren't LOOSING anything with this concept. NOTHING that we had before will be gone with this concept!

And yeah with NCT... replacing members.... WHAT??? For one it's insulting the idols, saying they aren't unique, it's insulting the fans trying to make it seem like fans will just... jump ship to a new member and it's just overall stupid, bcs new members are added in even if no members have left so who TF are they replacing here???

Also as for the replacement part, it's also ENTIRELY insulting the jpop groups that do a graduation and generations system!

ONF debuted in August 2017, and since them I’ve not kept up with newer boy groups at all. Most of the boy groups I stan are currently in (or been discharged from) the military.
