...is darn close.
I gave All Light a total of 9.4. This is the best studio album released in the past 6 months, at least. There is not a single song that feels like a filler, every song is title-worthy and could easily be promoted. It's such a great and cohesive piece of music art. The album is also easy to listen to at once, rhythm-wise. Perfect dose of upbeat music, followed by an acoustic track, then back to a dance track, then a ballad-break, some more happy music and a grand finale with the ballad. A ballad is a great way to end an album but they are not exactly BTOB. I do miss their goofy Hide & Seek and Breathless type of songs, but I also do understand that they have to mature. And boy did they mature properly. I don't think I'll get bored of this album very fast. For me, I am adding ASTRO to the list of boy-groups that delivers albums that can be listened to repeatedly without over-saturation. The others on the list are BTS and MONSTA X.
If you haven't given it a listen yet, I wholeheartedly recommend setting aside 33 minutes for this piece of art.
