Producer and writer of the show is Lucifers producer. I hope that means that it'll be Aimed towards more mature audiences like Detective Pikatchu. If it follows that movie it can be great.

lmao.. Anime live action tends to suck (e.g. Bleach, DBZ, Death Note). But I agree that it would be tasteless to turn it into a cringefest.. Like if they took Pikachu's unwillingness to go into a pokeball and turned it into a commentary on animal rights, but I digress. lol... but there are stories within the Pokemon universe that would be cool to see in live action, such as Clemont's disasterous inventions or his relationship with Luxio. Or Misty's relationship with Psyduck. Its unlikely that either would be considered for the film, but it would be cool.
