Hello, gal with ADHD who can't take medication and sucks at studying.
I need help.
Essentially anytime I have to study for anything I stall like crazy and I've been putting studying off for like months
and now a 6-hour exam I have to take to enter into a program is literally like two weeks away.

I need some serious studying tips ASAP.
Please keep in mind I have a hard time focusing for long periods of time.
Get distracted super easily.
Love to procrastinate like a dumb bitch.
Also, like to make very colorful notes and love to read.
I also need complete silence but also crave music.
I'm a mess.

PLEASE JUST HELP ME

I had a google chrome extension where I set up "studying periods" and it always blocked all my sites once it was pass the time I allowed myself to browse the Internet.
colour-coding
rewriting notes and studying in small chunks.
reading wikipedia, the easier it gets, the better BECAUSE if you can´t explain it easily, you can´t explain it at all.
watching documentaries

I also read a lot about history in probably more depth than I needed for the test. I always did my own research on everything. I enjoyed the independence in learning that I was given at uni.

This has helped me so much. If you can't focus for a long time, then don't. Study for 20 minutes and take a 5 min break in between. If you feel that 5 min isn't enough, make it 10 min. Good luck!

i been studying for fak long now
but the way i do it is just a technique on how to make it easy studying terms and testing yourself by making the background black of all the descriptions of the terms you need to put in your head for a test
guessing however you get nothing useful out of that tip...

so how about just keep reminding yourself why you have to study, what you can get out of it
may that bring positivity and the willpower to get it done
