True. Back when I first got into K-pop groups would promote for 3-4 weeks (mostly the full month). Some even managed 5 weeks.

I know a lot of idols now have other gigs like acting, hosting, variety etc but they are a singer first and foremost so I do miss the lengthier promotional periods.

SNSD showed up at music bank for 7 of 9 of the wins ( sm and kbs were at odds the first 2 weeks )
They got 5 trophies many times and were there for each... which is 6 weeks cuz first week is no wins unless you really play with the release and kill a few metrics.

TBH at the end of each 2 week promo period for Red Velvet I get bad flashbacks to the promo period for SNSD's Holiday, a.k.a. 10th anniversary. Just 2 weeks of regular activity, no fanfare, then they went silent.
