All we could do is guess though, maybe he didn't want it affecting iKon, maybe it was because he knew it was over for him, maybe YG got him to say it so they could terminate his contract and protect what remains of their battered image, who knows.

I feel like this is damage control because there's more dirt on him. And the fact that this happens the same time there is actual confirmed corruption with the BS investigation is too sketchy to be coincidental

We’ll probably never know unless BI has an interview with a news agency not affiliated with Dispatch or YG. Some rumors circulating around include protecting ikon and taking away heat from Burning Sun. It’s also been reported by some he was found near the Han river crying by himself.

I’m still just shocked by how quickly he was let go. He’s been in YG since he was a child.

Dispatch said he brought and possibly used marijuana and LSD which kakao talks were released of him trying to buy LSD in bulk which B.I confirmed he did attempt to buy but denied using.

It is a possibility however it is Dispatch who brought this to light and they aren't exactly the biggest fans of YG now so even if BS wasn't going on they'd never miss a chance to kick YG.

I really don't think it was his sole decision. There's probably a lot more to this we don't know. Maybe YG's management dug deeper and saw a bigger scandal than what was revealed to the public so they got rid of him ASAP. Or maybe B.I didn't want to drag iKON down with him so he left for the betterment of his group. Either side of the coin is believable, at this stage.
