I hate driving new places so much, it makes me so nervous. It doesn't help that drivers suck where I'm from and are very honk happy which makes it even worse

Well, I'm a delivery driver right now, so I get all kinds of road rage lol
It's not too bad when you can listen to your podcasts and music in the car while delivering unhealthy, gross, disgusting pizza

You're in Massachusetts, right? If so, you'll just have to accept the fact that there are many obnoxious and stupid drivers on our roads. Don't let them get you down.

One thing I've found useful is to go over routes on Google maps beforehand. Go to satellite view and figure out lane changes and parking areas at your destination.

Yeah I am, and I know I’ll just have to learn to deal with them. I just don’t like it

its gotten worse, but ive always hated driving. its too many unpredictabilities and so much focus is needed I struggle with driving so I always get anxious behind the wheel

I haven't driven a car once ever since when I drove my fathers car after getting my license, I couldnt get it to start on a green light. Just the embarrassment in that moment has haunted me to this day

absolutely. i legally cant because of a disability i have but even without that disability i feel like id be unable to because i also have problems with anxiety. like others have said above, the unpredictability of being on the road, the pressure from being around others, and losing focus scares me
