i’m doing early college so any tips?

Uhh some that I learned:
-keep your syllabus handy, in high school they're useless but in college they're like a golden book with all your due dates and stuff
-keep a calendar of all the readings you have to do, your professors won't remind you to do those but will ask you questions about it (a lot of your readins will be listed on the syllabus too lmao)
-there isn't as much hw in college, so exams and essays are worth a crap ton, just keep that in mind
-don't be hesistant on emailing a professor about a question you have, they're super chill as long as you actually checked the syllabus for answers first
-don't procrastinate, really, it makes your life way easier if you don't

Just enjoy it and be young and naive while you have the chance. Be yourself and natural and you will find good friends. Studies are important but also try to grow socially and gain experiences. I really miss college and it hurts. Actually I AM in college but never went back to an actual offline class since COVID.

Ah, OK.

Even though you're staying home, don't miss any orientation activities or other opportunities to meet fellow students. And if you find any on-campus clubs interesting, join them. Try to get to know as many people as possible.

Don't worry if you don't form any friendships at college right away --- that happens to a lot of people. Just hang in there and you will find new friends over time.

If you’re struggling mentally it’s a good idea to try to get help. I wasted too much time with my depression that I didn’t fully get to experience the college life and I regret not getting help sooner. If you aren’t then that’s great though
