the 80s have always been the most musically interesting decade for me, at least when it comes to the american pop and rock scene. everything was just so good, i so wish i could have lived through it other than my newly-found love for "hyperpop", classic rock from the 80s (and sometimes the 50s, 60s, or 70s, depending on the day) is the only western music i listen to. at the risk of sounding like a pretentious snob, music was better back in the day
