mostly reasonable in idea because of how fandom in china has grown with the social media giants and the rise of big tech hence the hyper focus on numbers, but it’s straight out impossible to enforce



so they’re nerfing down on the works of artists who have done some morally bad things (or illegal), rip if they do take down all of zhao wei’s stuff,,,, her presence was insane and idk how people will react to stuff like the return of princess pearl or painted skin getting taken down for that



and the rumoured updated list of sensitive words that’ll get your weibo account affected…. I get that most of the words get brought up in fights but to add terms as inane and common as scammer, trash, brainwashing, host, to anger to death, car crash, shameless

but I’m seeing that mostly people think that the list of affected artists rn is still mostly zhao wei being the only actual bigshot, kris and zheng shuang being the established liuliang, and huo zun and zhang zhehan being the new liuliang getting stuff taken down
jaywalk, tf ent and yuehua’s artists all signed that document basically saying yes that they’ll cooperate on the cleanup and do what they can to help become a better influence for their fans on the internet

she had the rising sun dress scandal from 2001 that got brought up again with zzh messing up, and some alibaba pictures producer (which zhao wei has significant shares in) also got some stuff removed or muted so something on the business side of her endeavours might also be a reason
