During this pandemic, I decided to get my first snake.
Well, it's been ten months since then, and I now have eleven.

Starting to wonder if I miiiight have gone a little overboard.



...I still have plans to get at least one more.

They eat mice, for the most part. I got 5 of them for free (4 off of craigslist, one from police impound) and the other six were between $20-$350 each.

Do you have a designated area for them, or are they just all over the place?

They're all in my bedroom.

Both my cats and my snakes enjoy sitting on my shoulders and hanging out with me.

They're amazing little creatures, each with their own personality. I also have a scaleless, but I couldn't find any recent photos of him.

As long as you have enough money to take care of them all I see no problem with it. Just keep them away from me please they can be gentle pets but they still freak me out.

And I plan to get more, as well as breed the ones I have starting next spring.


They're not actually that expensive to keep once you get the basics set up. It's just electricity, food, and bedding for the most part. I get them new enrichment items and hides every so often, too. You'd probably not be freaked out by the itty bitty ones. They're less than a foot long, about as big around as a standard straw at the thickest point, with heads the size of watermelon seeds. They look like cartoons come to life and couldn't hurt you no matter how hard they try.
