Not only is it my favorite Ateez song, the best song ever with beautiful vocals, a wonderful vibe, amazing MV, amazing styling, etc… Its also what made me decide to stan Ateez, a group that I’ve really come to love so dearly.
I had actually been following their music since pre-debut but was holding off on really looking into the members until I was 100% sure I loved their music (I love all of their songs tbh so I still have no idea why it took me so long to stan them).
But anyways I listened to Answer when it came out for the first time and… I actually cried
I still have no idea why but I just loved the song so much.
I was still unsure if I wanted to stan them because I’m always a little nervous for the first comeback after stanning a group you know, you hope that you enjoy everything as much as you did with what made you stan them. So after constantly listening to their discography I decided I would determine if I’d stan them after I looked further into the members. I had only watched their U.S vlogs pre debut and really didn’t remember too much of any of them.
So I began watching their logbooks which is basically a bunch of behind the scenes stuff as they do their schedules. I also looked at fan made videos like guides, crack videos, etc… and like with my other faves I instantly fell for these adorable, funny, talented human beings that make up Ateez.
I loved our wonderful maknae Jongho who has such a strong and beautiful voice, his strange habit of crushing fruits, his adorable gummy smile and the fact that he just seems so much more mature than his hyungs.
Wooyoung who was funnily enough a member that took me a while to understand, he’s loud and even if he’s not in frame you know when he’s laughing because he sounds like elmo lol. He’s the younger sibling that loves to annoy everyone but you still love him because he cares so much for his other members.
Mingi the deep voiced rapper who looks like he could kill you but he’s the ultimate softie, he’s incredibly clumsy and has this sort of awkward presence that just makes you want to protect him at all costs.
San who’s known for being possessed onstage because he gets so into the performances and I love it. Offstage he’s the complete opposite and is actually quite shy, full of natural aegyo and he is just the most precious human being who always gives everything his 100%.
Our shyest member Yeosang who has such a lovely sense of humor, he’s very blunt and sarcastic and honestly just brings a great balance to the team.
Yunho who is now one of my ults, I never thought I would have another ult after Suga but Yunho has a very special place in my heart. It’s one of those cases where he chose me rather than I chose him as my bias. I love his energy, he’s a literal happy pill, one of the most beautiful smiles ever, I could go on and on.
Tiny leader Hongjoong who’s so talented he surprises me all the time tbh. The strict father of the group, but he loves his members so much and works so hard all the time.
Then finally the oldest and the clean freak mother, Seonghwa. He takes care of his children (and Hongjoong) super well and seems to be such a kind soul.
I really just rambled didn’t I? I guess I’m trying to say that one of the reasons why I love Answer so much is that it’s what really led me to stan this wonderful group. They have provided me with so much happiness during stressful times and I’m so happy that I listened to Answer because if I hadn’t it may have taken me longer to get into them. I love Ateez so much.
