It says there's 548 robots online right now. But why?

A factory like Amazon might need 548 robots but not a kpop forum.

Can you please start banning robots. They creep me out.

Some of the bots are sophisticated enough to have an account + post AI constructed messages/threads. Most bots tend to post a link. I'd advise against ever clicking on one of those links though as it could be a Virus or lead to a dodgy/bad website.

Ah, that was probably one of them made with the purpose of advertising the VPN.

aren't lot of them search engine etc. bots just looking some info? but i guess some are for advertising/leading to dodgy websites

Google has more robots(virtual) than Amazon does, i believe(unless Amzn server services employs more robots) but they are for SEO purposes i believe. Otherwise nobody would ever know abt KPopsource forum to join in the first place, unless we use smoke signals or sth. I googled n found kpop forums, not this one-when both crashed temporarily for awhile-a post i read mentioned KS b4 tat forum crashed again for a longer period. Both returned but i prefer KS now. Robots arent creepy, ppl (or corporations) use robots for sometimes creepy purposes.

If they are not doing anything wrong, I think it's counterproductive to just ban them.
