This is a big debate at home: to keep the laptop plugged in 24/7 or no. I use mine for school, especially pre-pandemic I would move it around in my backpack a lot. And when I bring it downstairs I don’t bother keeping it in the charger.

I’ve tried telling them that. I get it hwlps to have it plugged in sometimes but something feels weird to me about 24/7 use

Gaming laptops are more demanding especially while you game. Your battery is just going to drain out in a hour and while it drains it affects the performance like fps (frames per seconds), etc.

Yeah they're used for different reasons. I never unplug mine though even when I don't game because the battery is dead because of it lol

Yeah bc I had a second hand one and the battery was fcked up so I had to leave it plugged in to use it thank god I got a new one that one was shit

I keep my laptop in its case in my drawer out of sight and i take it out once every full moon when neither my tablet or phone has no battery
