Clannad After Story, Angel Beats! and Kanon (2006)... Also known as the Holy Trinity of Anime as these are the top 3 shows that all anime fans should watch at least once within their lifetime!

I've lost count of the number of times now that I've re watched these shows... With Clannad After Story always being re watched every spring and Kanon being re watched every winter. Whilst Angel Beats is something that I'll re watch every time that I get given the chance to.

Question is though have you watched these shows and how highly do they rank on your favourite anime of all time?

I have a few shows that I've rated 10/10 on MAL. But if I could I would rate Clannad After Story 100/10 and Angel Beats and Kanon 11/10!!!!!

Nope! You wouldn't understand After Story or get the full enjoyment unless you watched the first season of Clannad first.

I'm not biggest fan of KyoAni, they are ok and have some good one's, but mostly don't do genres I'm that into.. and I kinda dislike how their animes tend to look the same ^^;

Though, have you seen Violet Evergarden? It's one from KyoAni that I really liked.

Have any of you watched Bunny Girl Senpai? I'm 9 episodes in and it's great. Very deep and relatable even though it's fantasy.

I remember back at uni a classmate of mine randomly watched Clannad (she isn’t into anime or anything like that, she barely even spoke to me) and she’d come over to me saying how much she cried and everything.

I haven't watched any that have been released this year aside from watching Fairy Tail on a weekly basis.

2006 - 2010 will forever be the best era of Anime imo.. And its funny how most of my favourite shows have from KyoAni/Jun Maeda/Key..

Not that there is not good shows in those genres, but I'd rather have some action or mystery included in mine :p

I recommend it, and I think it's the kind of show you will really like too ^^ I watched it on Neftlix while ago, so should be there still.

I wasn't a huge fan of Angel Beats, but I def agree with the other 2. I would maybe add Kare Kano, a very underrated and unknown anime that holds a special place for me.

Out of these AB is definitely my fav, Clannad was nice, Kanon I know I watched but don't even remember 😅
