That I’m lazy. I have a balance condition due my eardrum bursting and causing my balance mechanisms to become permanently damaged. Basically I feel like I’m rocking on a boat all the time, so sometimes I need to just lay down for an hour or so so I can rebalance myself and not projectile vomit everywhere.

This started when I was in my second yesr of uni. My coursemates were great about it and helped me. The only tutor that gave me any sort of help/support was my shorthand tutor, who was amazing with me. She didn’t question me if I emailed to say I was too dizzy to get to class, and when I could go in let me go in early and go over anything I missed or didn’t understand in my book (she wrote the book/voiced transcripts that we and students from other unis used) My other tutors were useless, and one two weeks before I was due to leave after third year got me in her office and ranted for 45mins, reducing me to tears. I had to go into a lecture right after that and my coursemates were furious because I’m not one to cry very often.
