What's up with bunch of Esteem (associated with SM) models? Can they even sing? Because YGK+ ones in the second season weren't that talented. I mean they've never trained either, they don't specialise in singing or dancing.

TBH I think with their being a lot more individual trainees this year there is gonna be a lot of contestants without any formal training in singing and dancing which is probably why they made Rank X in the first place...

“Produce X 101” Confirms Premiere Date + To Unveil Title Track Performance Today


More information has been revealed for the premiere of “Produce X 101”!
The first performance of the title track “X1-MA” will be unveiled on the March 21 episode of “M Countdown.” Before the show, the 101 trainees will greet fans outside of the “M Countdown” recording studio in Sangam, Seoul.
The song “X1-MA” will also be released digitally on March 21 at 6 p.m. KST.
“Produce X 101” will officially premiere on May 3 and air every Friday at 11 p.m. KST via Mnet. The program will be hosted by Lee Dong Wook.

I was shocked when I saw Park Yuri's name. His visuals are amazing but that one video of him on IG, where he is rapping.. yeah no. Same for that Sky Castle boy? He's a child actor but can he actually sing or dance. I mean he looks bit chubby too. I don't want to be harsh but I swear some of these boys go on there just to get attention not that they're desperate.

I hope there are a lot of X then, lmao. Also individual trainees can be crazy talented, like Jaehwan. It's honestly worse if they're a company trainee and still get X/F.
