About CA, saying slurs, racism, etc in Kpop?
Are you bothered by it? Do you feel sick and tired with people doing this all the time? Or do you not care at all and it’s only the blackface and things along that line that you think are serious and are offended by?
I’m curious to see opinions from non-ktubers lol

Honestly, as a white person it isn’t up to me to what other people find racist. Having said that, with how important social media is nowadays, idols and companies should really know by now what could be considered offensive. With Kai for example, he hated having his Kokobop hairstyle, and even asked SM not to give him the headpiece he wore during Mmmh promos for Kaist ep 1. Of course SM didn’t listen, and people gave him hate for it as a result.

My thing is, they have access to the internet, and companies don't or barely use it to properly research other cultures, and find out what's considered racist. I get it, people get curious and want try things. Still, gotta do your research. Try putting yourself in their shoes, or something. I'm just saying. 🤷🏾‍♀️

OH MY GOD YES. Like STFU. You’re being racist yourself. You are just embarrassing yourselves. When stans say stuff like that it’s just as bad as what _ idol did to offend another culture

i'm a white european so it's not my place to speak on such things and i wish other people who aren't part of certain cultures/communities would do the exact same thing and by that i mean shut the f*ck up for once. speaking over people who have the right to be offended does more harm than good and it's just plain stupid to lose morals over people who will never know you even exist.
