Hello everyone and welcome to the Events Intern Recruitment!

We are currently in the need of new members and thus have opened a new application cycle for the Events Intern!

What exactly is an Events Intern?
In the simplest terms, this is a temporary position for any person who wants to eventually become a permanent Events member. Basically, any person who would like to be an Events member goes through this position as a trial session to see if they are fit for the team. This is about a 3 month trial session. During this time, you really act like an Events member and get to plan, prepare, and host events with us!

Why can't I become a permanent Events member right away?
Well, while this would be nice and easy for both of us, many users who join the Events team do not realize how much work it takes for events to be planned, prepared, and hosted. Our work with the Events team is easily one of the hardest among all of the staff teams. This trial period of being an Events Intern will see if you are a good fit to the Events team!

How do I become a permanent Events member after being an Intern?
At the end of the 3 month trial session, the Events members and admins will evaluate to see if you are a good fit to us and make a decision to take you on the team or not. This is not a biased decision by any means. If you are active and a good member, you will definitely be added permanently to the Events team.

What are the requirements to become an Events Intern?
- you must be at least 16 years old
- your KS account must be at least 2 months old
- you must have a discord
- you must be actively participating within the team
- you must be upfront with how active you can be

Why do you need a discord account?
All of our planning and communication occurs within a Staff KS server that is being held on discord, so having a discord account is absolutely vital to joining the events team.

How active do you need to be?
Well, like I have mentioned above, the Events team has a lot of work and is one of the busiest staff teams on KS. Thus. while you do not have to be super active on KS, we do expect that you will be actively communicating with us on discord and help us plan and prepare events! Of course, the KS staff team is very understanding of times when you can be super busy (such as finals week in school), but we are in need of active members who can communicate well. The basic rule is that if you can't respond within a 24-48 hour window to a question that is given to you, then maybe this team isn't the best fit for you.

So, after all of these clarifications, how do you apply?
You are able to apply by submitting the google form below~
This google form will ask you basic questions such as whether you fit the requirements and make sure you understand the conditions that are being laid out to you.
The application will also ask you to make up an event as a test to see how creative you can be!
