was there a book you did enjoy reading when it was assigned to you in school? (3 Viewers)

im not talking about youread and liked it before it was in school, nor you reread it after you graduated and liked it. I'm talking it was assigned and u enjoyed it while working through it for school.

for me it was the great gatsby. i liked it enough that its now one of my favourite books, so my teacher did good with that one lololol. I also enjoyed Candide, although I wouldn't say I would actively look for it to reread it.

Obasan - that book made me sob. It was about the Japanese internment camps in Canada and our government treated people so horribly
