Not to be negative, but what’s your least favourite thing about being a moderator?

Ohohoho there is a lot:
- users think that you are biased if you rule a certain way
- you get accused of being certain things such as racist when you don't rule their way
- people constantly disagree with your rulings
- you can't really fight with users cause you have to maintain professionalism no matter how rude users are to you
- lots of all caps, angry, rude messages
- people will keep pressing you on things if they want them a particular way
- people cannot respect your job as a mod and sometimes demand things that will make your life as a mod harder (i mean unreasonable requests with these)
- mainly, people don't really understand that we don't get to be biased or have our personal things in the way we rule, we have to maintain an objective stance and are guided by KS rules only so sometimes we even make decisions that we personally would like to avoid but have to do so to keep integrity up

I got my social work degree in June 2021. I am now taking an honours bachelor in early learning. I would say it is worth it, despite not being easy. The end goal is to work with young kids and give them the support I didn't have in school

Tbh it wasn't as bad before, it's more of a recent thing, which makes sense since we have more active users lately.
