I'm really bored so I'll be making this thread.

Here we go.

Alters/headmates...


Alters, or more commonly referred to as headmates is a seperate being from the host. (Most take offense to being called alters, so either ask or default to headmate.)

There are different types of headmates. The three most basic ones I can think of are... Factive, fictive and non-human (headmate)

Factives are headmates based off of a real person! For example, we have a Yang jungwon factive!

A fictive is an headmate based off of a fictional character. For example, I myself am a fictive. My source being Boku no Hero Academia.

An non-human headmate is exactly what it sounds like. An... Non-human... Headmate. For example 睿 (rui). Rui is the personification of the season winter.

Another thing. Do not. And I cannot stress this enough. Do not idolize an headmate based on their source. Don't make "I kin you comments." And definitely no source shipping comments. They are not appreciated and will land you on any systems block list. Source talk may be allowed depending on each system. But always ask.


Roles..

Basic roles I can think of...

Protector. A protectors job is what it sounds like... To protect the system. Either from physical or emotional harm.

Littles. LITTLES ARE CHILDREN. I cannot stress this enough. They are children, so please treat them with care.

Trauma holders... Headmates that hold trauma.. This is the best i can explain this.


Persecutors. An headmate that actively harms the body, weather intentional or not.


Extra:

Headmates can be older and younger than the body

Headmate's genders can be different from the body.

Race. Race/nationality CAN be different in innerworld. BUT if the body can't say it. Neither can you.

Our system...

Our system name is 'The frost collective.'

We are a traumagenic system with 100+ headmates.

Our collective pronouns are they/them.

Yes! We will usually introduce who is fronting beforehand, or we will sign off on our messages. Most headmates will use different colored text (As I am now.) Their preferred emoji, or just sign off using their name! - Shinsou

Thank you for that, it’s really helpful to know who’s fronting because I may have an inside jokes with some headmates that others may not understand
