Middle school ig? I was part of the popular "clique", basically made up of four other girls and like three guys? I'm ashamed now because we were just dumbass kids flaunting the fact that puberty didn't make us ugly and that our parents were able to buy us what we wanted, and bullying people behind their backs, and sometimes even to their faces.

I realized early on (elementary/primary school) that I didn't have what it took to be popular, so I stopped caring. I'm cute and smart but am also terribly obnoxious and I lack character.

Edit: I had friends who ended up on the class bests short list, so I was friends with popular people.

When I was younger I was, I was more outgoing and talkative and had an easy time making friends. But in High School it was different, as my friends in High School put it, “I’m the most popular nerd.” Tbh I was very much a loner and didn’t say much but among the students who were considered “weird” then I’d say I was.
