Welcome to KS’ highly-anticipated annual awards ceremony! Your favourite MC, izcream, is back better than ever after a short hiatus in March and will be hosting this year's User Awards but with a slight twist this time. If you haven’t noticed from the banner already, this year, we’ll be having the staff awards together with the user awards as well! However, the staff awards will only involve the staff members so you don't have to worry about it. Before I introduce the awards that are up for grabs, please take a few minutes to read the rules below.

• Users are allowed to nominate themselves.​
• You can only nominate the same user up to 2 times in the nomination form.​
• Being nominated does not guarantee you a spot in the voting form. You will still have to meet the criteria in order to move to the voting period.​
• @izcream has the right to decide which users move to the voting period in the event of a tie between the top 5 users​
• Submissions with no usernames will not be counted.​
• Please refrain from nominating the previous winners of the awards as much as possible to ensure that every user has an equal chance at winning the award. Previous winners of KS User Awards 2020 can be found in the Hall of Fame thread.​
• Previous winners can still be nominated for other awards if they meet the criteria.​
• You can only nominate up to 5 different users for each category.​
• Manipulating or pressuring users to nominate you is strictly prohibited in this event. Users found doing so will be disqualified from the entire event.​

Comedian of the year

➮ A user who never fails to make you laugh no matter what they do.

Cutie of the year

➮ Someone who is known for having a sweet personality.

Aesthetic queen/king of the year

➮ If you'd like to nominate yourself for this award, please submit your username and upload a screenshot of one of your layouts into the nomination form. Additionally, you can also nominate a user on the forum whom you think has had the most aesthetically pleasing layout in 2021 and I will personally inform them that they have been nominated so that they can send in one of their best layouts for consideration. Once the nomination period is over, I will look through the submissions and pick the top 5 layouts. The top 5 users will then proceed to the voting period.

Troll of the year

➮ I'm sure we all know of a user who has a tendency to troll others on the forum. Who do you think was the best troll of Kpopsource this year?

Most dedicated user (of the year)

➮ A user who talks about their bias, and only their bias 25/8.

Friendliest user (of the year)

➮ A user who is known for being friendly and approachable.

Ship of the year

➮ To be eligible for this award, you will need to be officially shipped with someone first.

User of the year

➮ Which user do you think contributed and stood out the most on Kpopsource this year?

Rookie of the year

➮ Only active users who joined between 2020-2021 are eligible for this award.

OP of the year

➮ Who do you think posted the most creative and entertaining thread of 2021?

Designer of the year

➮ A user that makes signatures or graphics for others.

Comeback of the year

➮ A user who went on at least a 5-month long hiatus but returned in 2021 and have been actively contributing to the forum

Veteran of the year

➮ An active user who joined between 2018 and 2019

Flirt of the year

➮ Know of a user who's just flirty in nature or has the smoothest pick-up lines?

Card collector of the year

➮ A user that actively collects cards, by actively posting threads on the forum or setting up trades with others and so on

Nomination period: 3 December to 10 December
Voting period: 12 December to 18 December
Results: 19 December
