Yeahh I mean, they were trendy though. 👀 They had mass appeal around that time for that reason. So the designers did something right.

actually, recently on tiktok Bratz doll collecting has become quite popular.
But with the Gen Z ppl, Barbie is not as appealing as Bratz dolls.. said by many haha.
And it is mainly the younger generations (2012-2018) who 'play' with barbies,,, they arent aesthetically pleasing enough to collect- but Barbie does bring in more income as it is significantly more popular for parents to buy their children, especially this time around.

I think the kids that are more mature would like it (bratz).. say 2008-2011 kids maybe
