Okay, let's get this over with as I'm going home tomorrow so I won't have time to do this thread and I want to share already

I failed to narrow my picks to 20, so here we go with TOP25 and honourable mentions of my favourite 2021 releases. A lot of these came out by the end of the year so it was hard to pick, and aside from the TOP10 I'm still not sure about the placement

but anyways here we go, enjoy (or not)

25. Somi - XOXO


This is definitely my favourite Somi release overall, even beating What You Waiting For


24. Kai - Peaches


I may like it even more than 'Mmmh' to be honest, and I liked 'Mmmh' A LOT


23. Boyhood - Rain (ft. Kisum)


My lovely boy that deserves so much more recognition, it's a shame people can't appreciate quality music


22. Kang Daniel - Paranoia


It's totally my vibe, especially the "la la" part omg I'm ascending everytime I listen to it istg


21. Hwasa - I'm a B


Honestly was kinda worried she was not going to release anything this year, but queen delivered


20. CL - Tie A Cherry


'Let me show you how to be a queen' hell yeah she did


19. Young K - Guard You


Can't believe he delivered an album full of bops and dipped into the military, I miss him so much already and it's going to be a long wait


18. Luna - Madonna


Now this is quality music. I hope she will be releasing more bops next year


17. Lisa - Lalisa


I don't get why people hated on this song for real, it's catchy and what's best, she actually got to promote her native culture WHICH I LOVE


16. Wendy - Like Water


This whole album is like a giant, warm hug. It's really healing and that's what she needed, and what reveluvs needed

I swear to got this is the best Chungha song, there's no competition for me. I know it's slow paced and blah blah but it's a masterpiece and deserved better promotions


14. Twice - The Feels


It's so catchy, everyone said that JYP was playing it safe, but I loved it on the first listen and still vibe to it


13. Key - Bad Love


Everytime I listen to this, I'm inch closer to buying the album which is itself full of bops


12. TXT - Loser=Lover


Decided to place it outside of the TOP10 despite being a MOA by heart. I really hope they'll release something less emo next. Don't get me wrong, I still love the song, just let's go for something cute, or classy


11. Joy - Hello


There's a song that puts smile on your face as soon as you hear the first notes. This songs fits Joy so well and her voice is so soothing


10. Brave Girls - Chi Mat Ba Ram


Let me tell you, I regret that I didn't stan them queens earlier. My summer anthem


9. IU - Celebrity


IU was my most listened kpop soloist this year, I loved everything she dropped and I really hope she'll continue to do so next year. Celebrity is on another level tho


8. AB6IX - Close


I really love it when artists take an active part in writing for their albums. AB6IX really did it twice this year. So little did I know what would come a few months later. But will talk about it in a minute


7. Day6 - You Make Me


I said it with Young K, but I'm gonna say this once more - I miss them so much, also with Sungjin in the military, when are we going to get somehting new


6. BamBam - riBBon


This actually came as a surprise to me, but really made me stan BamBam and get more into him. I'm anticipating his next releases, first the collab with Seulgi, imma die for real

5. Enhypen - Drunk-Dazed


Here comes the song that made me stan Enhypen. I watched I-Land and was so ready to stan them from the start, but the show really messed with me and I refused to do that when they debuted. But oh my god this song? Wow


4. Sunmi - You Can't Sit With Us


This song slaps so much, I love the vibe, I love the styling, evverything about it. I was kinda iffy about the rap at the beginning, but well I got used to it

3. Kim Wooseok - Sugar


I still can't comprehend how this man can be both zegzy and cute, like he can do both concepts flawlessly


2. AB6IX - Cherry


Here comes the song (and the album) that turned AB6IX into my third ult group. I can't even remember how it happened, but I was instantly hooked on all songs. I love them so much

I can't and I won't pick between those two songs. My queens really delivered and it was so worth the wait, and I hope they will continute to release masterpieces for more years to come. And my kings, oh my kings - this song is in every inch perfect.
