This really sucks. My throat was bothering me for a few days and it felt weird to swallow. I decided to look at my mouth in the mirror today... saw that I had some weird, white spots near my throat. I went to the clinic and turns out I have strep. I was tested for covid as well, but it was negative. I believe it might be in the early stages so my throat doesn't hurt badly yet... it may end up getting worse. I got some antibiotics though and I guess I'll be in bed for the rest of the week :( just came back from the store to get stuff that'll soothe my throat and help build up my immune system. also using my laptop instead of my desktop, so I can lay on my bed. I'll probably be playing my switch a lot this week (because why not?)...

Has anyone here dealt with this before?

I'm just worried about it getting worse... everyone I know that has had it, says it was terrible.

Oh I’m so sorry. I’ve had it before when I was younger and I honestly only remember the test they did on me to determine if I actually had it or not since it was pretty awful. I just remember I felt awful during it, but unfortunately I have no tips for you besides drinking lots of fluids (even if it hurts). I hope you get well soon
