I appreciate his breakdown of the method and construction behind it.

But it still doesn't sound good to me.

Something can have technical logic behind it and still be unpleasing.

That's how I feel about her rap.

I enjoy everything about the song except that rap.

It is at odds with the rest of the song and not in that "it's so different it actually complements the rest" kind of way. Rather it just seems like it doesn't belong.

In my opinion the song would be improved if it were removed or rewritten.
