Movie was meh…it’s a bit too soppy and I have quite a few questions about the meeting likeunless I’m missing something then it’s totally unrealistic and weird. The production in 80% of the scenes is horrible. I like some parts, but those cousins or whatever were annoying as fck. The story was so hard to follow like one minute he’s at a ball or whatever the next he’s drowning in a sink?! There’s so many more examples; It felt so rushed. And don’t get me started on the language. Obviously it’s going to have that Ye Olde English but I couldn’t understand a lot of it. It sounded like they were reciting old poems, not speaking normal conversation. Juliet had a personality 2 centimetres deep, and most of the other characters were the same. Nearly all of them weren’t that likeable either.
Their Romantic scenes either had me 😍 or cringing at the unrealisticness. I know it’s a movie and it’s going to be exaggerated but some scenes had me •__• though some moments I did like a lot and had me
Overall 3.5 out of 10.
0.5 points for the few decent Scenes and 3 points for Leonardo DiCaprio. he carried the whole movie
