I don't get how people (mostly international fans) are letting this slide though?

It's one thing to wear fakes for fashion. It's another to use them and promote them as real. This girl used a fake Dior bag...in a Dior ad? Not only is she incredibly stupid for that but it just screams desperation.

And even just using the fakes rubs me the wrong way. Someone spent their time designing a unique item only to have it stolen and reproduced without their permission. This part especially rubs me the wrong way, because as a writer I've had my works stolen and it's one of the worst feelings in the world. It's plagiarism. And the fact that she's supporting that honestly warrants some of the backlash she's getting.

And for the people I've seen saying stuff like "at least she is not supporting the luxury brands that exploit factory workers!1!1" yes...because the replica industry is sooo ethical and definitely does not take place inside of sweatshops...amazing.
