Also just saying I think this is the first time in a long while where I like the vocals a lot in a JYP girl group. I'm typically not the biggest fan.

This is... terrible? Like, genre-bending is something SM excels at and this simply isn't it. I don't know what I expected but this definitely isn't it. The vocals are too screechy for a top agency group, the choreography is sub-par, the "bad-ass" part of the song is way overboard experimental, it's like an off-beat is off the beat itself. I don't understand this song at all. The best part of the entire thing is the cinematography. It's top notch. If I could I would give it a zero, but that is not possible, so I give it a 1.

The beat changes is confusing I agree, but somehow I think it works in its own way? JYP was trying to pull a Next Level, and I think it was a mid effort.
I actually thought the vocals were pretty good for a new group, but I think there was a bit too much “rapping”. And yes, the cinematography in the m/v is excellent 👍🏻 Compared to what I was expecting its not too bad. But the song feels familiar in too many places. JYP wasn’t at his most original for this debut.

There was a similar issue when DALLA DALLA was released. People called it noisy and all over the place. JYP really said you about to see what over the top noise really is lol.
