Lately Jennie has been a target of massive body shaming from ifans because in a couple of photos her fupa was very visible, which is a perfectly natural part of bodies. Yet I recall BPink fans being the largest international fandom for a girl group. And while praising BPink members, they seem to haver over-exemplified body shape standards beyond realistic expectations. The point is that while there's is nothing wrong with preferring certain body shapes or praising them, you have to remember that just like there is racial diversity, there's also body diversity. I stan idols with thicc bodies (like Chaehyun) and thinner bodies (like Gaeul), and everything in between. But I would never say "they are queens because they have THIS specific type of body".
