like imma be real…..for me…..i just can’t stan someone that treats people badly but at the same time what do I really know about any of my favs true personalities???? everyone I stan could possibly be massive assholes and I wouldn’t even know lol but Irene should probably learn how to only be mean in private like why would she be mean to a flight attendant or a stylist in public where it could easily get out…if she’s gonna be mean she should also be smart about it lol

Honestly, I think she was in the wrong but also can't really speak to what actually happened that day behind the scenes. Obviously, it's not ok to be rude to someone in any compacity but I do think there is also a lot of good in Irene even if she is socially awkward at times and has RBF. In my personal opinion, she might've been having one of those days where the stupidest shit sets you off and she didn't control herself the way she should've.

But for that bad instance there are also multiple people who say she is a kind person so idk-you kind of just have to view idols as people who have good and bad in them and see if you can accept the flaws with the good.

My opinion on the situation is that it didn't seem to be one that painted Irenes whole character as bad as while there were multiple staff that came out about her however there was also push back against those claims by multiple other staff and her first apology seemed a typical damage control apology however she also went on to make a second apology which seemed totally on her and to me it shows she was genuinely remorseful about her behaviour and would also means she's not a bad person deep down even if her social skills might be questionable.

Just an fyi, the same person who posted the video about Red Velvet's recent attitude controversy is the youtuber (Sojang) who is infamous for trying to defame multiple artists across many different groups for bad character etc. Oftentimes they just jump on any garbage rumor and try to make a bonfire out of a match. So I would take anything they post about with a huge grain of salt, like the size of a mountain

no, if she apologised to that stylist then it's none of my business (it never was to begin with). i only don't like seeing people turn it into a joke for example "so glad irene yelled at the stylist" to complement rv outfits - workplace abuse is not a girlboss move or whatever slang people use these days. and if she apologised then people shouldn't bring it up especially in a joking manner.

it obviously wasn't the first time she's been rude with staff but others were quick to defend her.... idk, people are complex, some people treat certain people better than others for no apparent reason

I do think that she likely went way overboard with her rudeness that day but I also think part of it was overblown, that her diva attitude isn't so much a consistent issue that others paint it to be

I would have thought that with the way korea's defamation laws work that they would've been taken down by now and yet somehow they're still around.
