It seems initially SM was planning to debut a big girl group but most of their trainees either left or didn’t meet standards, so the end result was Aespa. The ae were there to sort of fill the void.

JYPE is swimming with female trainees and idols, and a lot of non-Big 3 companies are snatching ace girl idols left and right. Sullyoon might have debuted with Aespa but she preferred JYP instead.

Due to SM’s reputation of GG mistreatment they aren’t getting as many great idol candidates for their GG. We know SM always preferred boy idols the most.

But if they can get into any Big 3 like Sullyoon and they are female obviously they’ll choose JYP over SM

I really can't understand why anybody would choose JYP over SM if you could get into both. The cake girls are set for life,.BP is set for life. Look at what JYP did to twice and how badly they mentally and physically ran them into the ground along with ruining their solo potential
