i have no words at that point. what did the producers have in mind putting this in the lyrics? can't even be considered a mistranslation because the same thing appears as you google the korean term from the lyrics. i hope the members don't get blamed for this but still, this is horrifying.​

I was not aware of how problematic the lyrics were (or even this horrific event) when I first heard the song, do hope the company apologizes though. Using an event like that as an aesthetic is not okay. Those songwriters and stylists should be called out.

Koreans and Japanese are hypocritical when it comes to world history. When their neighbor country attacked them after 1920 they will remember forever, but they trivialize atrocities committed in other parts of the world. Imagine if this was a Japanese war captain or if they wore Chinese PLA outfits as props, they'll explode with anger but don't care in regards to Europe.

at this point i think the company is just going the "bad publicity is still publicity" route because they gave them a lyric "spreading hatred like a covid" in their debut, the words bipolar and anxiety in album titles and now this. the groups is full of children too most of the members are like 16 y/o from what i saw. mess
